For the traditional WAPOR welcome reception, this year we will embark on a desert safari adventure featuring barbecue, camel riding, sandboarding, belly dancing and more. Departure is at 15.00 sharp from the Grand Millennium Business Bay hotel. Attendance is included into the full conference registration (including student) and needs to be purchased separately for the daily pass.

Awards banquet is a social event which combines professional networking and local cuisine tasting, but also serves as important occasion to award the annual prizes in WAPOR. The banquet will be organized in the Al Amwaj Ballroom in Grand Millennium Business Bay hotel. Attendance is included into the full conference registration (including student) and can be purchased together with the daily pass.

The cruise sails in the Dubai Marina by the rich and exquisite Sights of Dubai Marina flaunting the sky high glittering towers, wonderful Modern city architectures and a sight of beautiful Mosque that magnifies the Scenic beauty of this tour giving you an absolute serene experience. It is well equipped with fully air-conditioned lower deck and an open upper deck with comfortable seating arrangements, snacks and entertainment all aboard. International cuisine with various options in its menu is also a treat to your taste buds. Ticket for a Dubai Marina Cruise can be reserved as a part of conference registration and is to be paid extra for all participants.
