The World Association for Public Opinion Research (WAPOR) will hold its 75th Annual Conference on 10-13 November 2022 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The WAPOR conference will convene before and overlap with the 5th WAPOR Asia Pacific regional conference which will take place at the same location on November 13-15, 2022.


75 Years of Worldwide Public Opinion Research


This year, WAPOR highlights the role and application of survey research in monitoring public opinion across the world since the end of WWII. This period has witnessed continuous and ongoing innovations in the conduct, analysis and interpretation of public opinion research, and this information is routinely disseminated across the globe. This research has become an essential element of a connected world and is now used to inform citizens, governments, private businesses, and academic researchers on countless topics. At the same time, public opinion research is not without its limitations and its critics.


The upcoming conference presentations, posters, and panels will include topics such as:

WAPOR 75th Annual Conference will be held in the very centre of Dubai. The first day of workshops will be held at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG), centrally located in the World Trade Center in Dubai. The following three days of WAPOR sessions will be held at the Grand Millennium Business Bay hotel, a 5-star hotel which boasts beautiful, scenic views and can accommodate our large numbers.

We thank you in advance for your valuable contribution to the conference and commitment to share your research with your WAPOR colleagues in Dubai. It is going to be a remarkable event featuring high quality paper presentations, exciting discussions, and inspiring training workshops. As this conference marks the 75th anniversary of WAPOR, special conference sessions will share an overview of the organization's history as well as a discussion on the future advancement and transformations of the public opinion research field and the WAPOR role in this process. Social program will include a Welcome Safari Adventure in the desert, the Awards Banquet, and the optional Dubai Marina Cruise.
